ABOUT RICHARD
Richard is currently the Executive Director of the Pietermaritzburg & District Community Chest. Since the 1980's Richard has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in the NGO/NPO Sector that includes designing, implementing and evaluating a variety of community development projects. He has also acquired knowledge and experience in the administration and financial management of not-for-profit organisations. Richard has served on the boards of several NPOs however, his passion for using his knowledge and skills remains solidly fixed on the NGO/NPO Sector and for Pietermaritzburg/Msunduzi.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Managing an NGO/NPO in the 2020's is serious business. Increasingly, NGOs/NPOs are, by law, being held to the same levels of accountability as the corporate sector.
Access to donor and CSI funding is increasingly competitive.
How prepared is your NGO/NPO to handle delays in pledged funding or worse, a sudden cut or complete stop of funding from a long-standing donor?
How prepared is your NGO/NPO to withstand the challenging and often unstable socio-economic environment in which we find ourselves today, especially when it comes to managing our finances and financial sustainability?
Does your NGO/NPO currently meet the financial audit requirement of "a going concern"? Or, are you at risk of "reckless trading"?
Make sure you don't miss out on being empowered at this workshop.
