Trauma-informed teaching on: self awareness, self regulation, self compassion. self care and burnout recovery for NGO leaders.
We are fortunate to have Roslyn Anderson presenting to us on this important topic:
"Having a better understanding of one's own personal story and triggers is a crucial part of resilience. We know that change is constant, and the South African environment is one of many challenges. I believe that we need to know ourselves better and to be equipped with tools and concepts to aid the processing of trauma. If one can get assistance in processing trauma it may not sting as much when wounds are triggered. If we can learn to understand our nervous systems, rather than 'white-knuckling it', we are better equipped to respond to challenges in a grounded manner and with wisdom." Roslyn.
