THE NEW WORLD OF WORK

"The new world of work is uncertain, demands new skills from employees, requires different forms of thinking, and this ultimately poses endless challenges for business leaders and those in people management. Add into the mix the endless advances in the areas of technology, the potential impact of AI, the question of work-from-home or not, and we have the ideas mix of criteria for the perfect storm. The session will look at suggested new business models, best-practice ideas from thought leaders, and finally look at what it means to us in our lives at work."

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Dr. Pelser held the position of Head of the Training Centre at Msunduzi Municipality for many years. He then joined The IIE's Varsity College (PMB) as a lecturer, on an independent contractor basis, and has been with the campus for more than 20 years.

Dr. Pelser has a wealth or knowledge and expertise in the HR field, and I believe this will afford those joining a meaningful and valuable engagement. Dr. Pelser's PHD is in the area of Leadership in Performance and Change.
